HENDERSON - Funeral services for Edward Lee “Burtro” Burt, 58, who died Tuesday, July 1, 2014, will be held Monday, July 7, at 1 p.m. at Perry’s Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Burt family cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Earnestine Hargrove of the home; daughters, Cindy Hicks of Raleigh, Juankenia Hargrove of Butner, Sheila Thomas and Wanda Thomas, both of Centerville; sons, DaQuan Burt and Chauncey Hargrove, both of Henderson, Shawn Thomas of Centerville, Avon Edgerton of Knightdale, Brandon Washington of Henderson and Prentice Hargrove of Aberdeen, Md.; mother, Priscilla Burt of Raleigh; sisters, Beaulah Burt of Raleigh, Queen Williams of Vacaville, Calif., Emma Whitley of Raleigh, and Goldie Gore (Lloyd) of Little River, S.C.; brothers, Bennie Burt and John Burt, both of Louisburg, Arthur Burt and Joe Burt, both of Raleigh; and nine grandchildren.

Open visitation will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg on Sunday, July 6, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
