LOUISBURG - Betty Bobbitt Hunt, 92, died Saturday, March 3, 2007 in Louisburg Nursing Center. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, March 5, in the Lancaster Funeral Chapel in Louisburg, conducted by the Rev. Mark Lynch. Burial followed in Lancaster Memorial Park.

Surviving: daughters, Faye H. (Pete) Hale of Alert, Sylvia H. Murray of Wendell; sons, Sterling Lee Hunt of Bunn and Barry Stephen Hunt of Alert; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Lee Hunt; sons, Stanley and Stewart Hunt, and an infant son.
