RALEIGH - Claude Edward “Bronie” Perry, 86, died Monday evening, March 5, 2007 at Wake Medical Center. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, March 8, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, Wake Forest, with the Rev. Dwight Barham officiating. Burial followed in Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

He was born in Wake County, son of the late Bertha Williams Perry and Obie Willie Perry. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Daniels Perry; sisters, Ruth E. Holman and Betty Mae Johnson; brothers, Ollie J. and Samuel A. Perry. Mr. Perry was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during WW II.
