LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Ruth T. Allen, 89, who died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at Nelson Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bobby Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: son, Henry Eaton Jr. of Wake County; sisters, Grace Hernandez of Baltimore, Md., and Marjorie Whitaker of Enfield; brother, Herbert J. Johnson of Durham.

Open visitation will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg on Friday, Sept. 26, from 3 to 7 p.m.
