FRANKLINTON--Funeral services for Braxton N. Young Sr., 76, who died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2014, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, at New Liberty Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jamil Crosson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Mary L. Young of the home; daughter, Julia Alexander (Al) of Franklinton; sons, Kervis Fox of Maryland, Julius L. Fox (Eugenia) of Jacksonfille, Fla., Calvin E. Fox of Washington, D.C., Braxton N. Young Jr. (Kim) of Ellicott City, Md., Rodney A. Young (Princess) of Franklinton and Marquette Costen of Carrboro; sisters, Julia M. Robinson and Beuenia Brown of New Rochelle, N. Y., and Shirley Paddyfote of Bloomfield, Conn.; brother, harold C. Young (Leitha) of Hyattesville, Md.; 21 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Wake services will be held at New Liberty Baptist Church in Louisburg on Wednesday, Oct. 22, from 1 to 2 p.m.
