LOUISBURG - Patricia Powell Shook, 66, died at her home Sunday, March 11, 2007 after a brave battle with Lou Gehrig’s (ALS) disease.

Pat is survived by her husband, Frank Leo Shook; son, Carl Robert Stell, Jr.; daughter, Sherry Stell Bell; son, Richard Bruce Stell; sister, InaDell Powell Vaughan; and 5 grandchildren.

Cremation will be provided by Harold Poole Funeral Home. A lakeside memorial service will be held at Lake Royale’s Pavillion today, Wednesday, March 14, 2007, at 4:00 p.m.
