ROCKY MOUNT--Funeral services for David Jones, 86, who died Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, at Greater St. Mark's Baptist Church, with the Rev. Roy Pittman officiating. Burial will follow in the Brick's family cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Betty Wright (Wilbert) of Louisburg and Carolyn Daniel (Irwin) of Battleboro; sons, Clifton Jones (Mable) of Enfield, James Jones (May) and David Garrett (Charlie Marie) of Rocky Mount, Robert Jones of Raleigh, Wallace Jones of Jacksonville, Fla., and Marvin Jones of Williamsport, Pa.; 22 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchilddren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville on Thursday, Oct. 30, from 3 to 7 p.m.
