DINISH CRUDUP


FRANKLINTON--Dinish Crudup, 83, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014 at WakeMed in Raleigh. Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 8, at Pope's Chapel United Church of Christ, Franklinton, with the Rev. Leroy Dukes officiating.

He was born to the late Albert and Rebecca Crudup. He attended school in Franklin County. He was employed in pulp- wood, was an employee of Sterling Cotton Mill, and later reetired from S.T. Wooten, Inc.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Henderson Crudup; sisters, Trummiler, Lilia and Bertha; brothers, Jack Thomas, Oval Lee, George, Jim and Jack Howard.

Surviving: daughters, Margaret Crudup and Priscilla Wortham (Larry), all of Franklinton; sons, Dennis, Howard, Ernest (Carolyn), Bruce and Thomas (Ann) Crudup, all of Franklinton; brothers, Albert Crudup of Franklinton and Eddie Morris of Nashville; sisters, Mabel Williams of Butner and Betty Crudup of Franklinton; 16 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
