LOUISBURG - Nell Rose Oakes Lee, 80, of Louisburg died Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Louisburg Nursing Center. Born August 13, 1934 to the late Earnest Hayes and Thelma Puckett Oakes.

The family received friends Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Boulevard, Louisburg, with funeral services following at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Jane Lyon officiating.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, JoAnne Oakes of Louisburg; her nephew and his wife, Robbie and Geraldine Oakes of Youngsville; her great-nieces and nephews, Kaitlin, Jarred and Will Oakes; and a host of loving cousins.
