FRANKLINTON -- Mary Ann Wilder Hagwood, 82, died Thursday Dec. 25, 2014 at WakeMed. Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 29, at Perry's Chapel Baptist Church, Franklinton. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

She was born in Franklin County, the daughter of the late Lawrence Wilder & Lucille Goswick Wilder. She was retired from the State of North Carolina and was a member of Perry's Chapel Baptist Church.

Surviving: daughters, Connie Hagwood Paul of Tampa, Fla., and Laurie Ann McFarland (Terry), of Louisburg; son, Dean Hagwood (Jane) of Louisburg; brother, Melvin Lee Wilder (Jean) of Franklinton; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Wilder.
