YOUNGSVILLE--Michael Fountain "Mike" Jessup, 58, died Monday morning, Dec. 29, 2014 at his home. A service celebrating his life was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home.

He was born in Vance County to the late Arthur Fountain Jessup and the late Georgia Pauline Lawson Jessup. He was retired from Gaylord Containers where he was a production manager with over 20 years of service.

Surviving: wife. Lisa Ann O'Neal; daughter, Lyndsey Jessup Morisey (Kenan) of Wilmington; siblings, Pat Caulder (Elliot) of Henderson, Cindy Journigan of Henderson, Roger Jessup (Phyllis) of Elizabethtown and James E. "Jimmy" Jessup; and one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Ralton Jessup.
