HENDERSON - Warren Thomas Hillard, 35, died Friday, Jan. 2, 2015. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 10, at 2 p.m. at New Birth Christian Church, 525 S. Main St., Franklinton, with Dr. William Garner officiating, assisted by the Rev. Billie E. Williams. Interment will follow in the Blacknall Cemetery, Henderson.

He graduated from Vance County Schools and later completed auto mechanics and carpentry courses at Vance-Granville Community College.

Surviving: wife, Sandra R. Hillard; mother, Sylvia Hillard; sons, Warren A. Hillard and Tavarius T. Ragland; sisters, Samantha Hillard of Franklinton, Dominique Foster of Columbus, Ga.; brother, Maxx Hillard of Henderson; stepchildren, Roushanti Steed, Rochelle Steed and Ke Nijah Hicks, all of Henderson; three uncles; one great-uncle; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Candace Foster; grandmother, Dorothy Turrentine; and grandfather, James Hillard.

A viewing will be held Friday, Jan. 9, from 2 to 8 p.m. at E.C. Terry's Funeral and Cremation Service.
