WAKE FOREST - Sarah B. Kearney, 84, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015 at Hillside Nursing Center in Wake Forest. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26, at First United Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Hawkins Chapel, Granville County.

Surviving: husband, Hal G. Kearney Sr. of Franklinton; daughters, Carmella Morris of Buffalo, N. Y., Viola Speller of Raleigh, Blanche Kearney of Raleigh and Bettie Crudup of Virginia Beach, Va.; son, Hal G. Kearney Jr. of Kittrell; sisters, Sallye Mae Winston of Raleigh, Barbara Kay Montague and Pollye Kearney of Atlantic City, N.J., and Maria Glasco of Norlina; brothers, Johnny Brodie, Glen Brodie of Franklinton; Ralph Brodie of Louisburg; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
