LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Herbert "Hubcap" Egerton, 65, who died Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, at South Main Street Baptist Church, with the Rev. David Rosby officiating. Burial will follow in the Nelson Chapel Baptist Church cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Gracie Egerton of the home; daughter, Vell Newell (Gene) of Winston-Salem; sons, Donavan Egerton (Sabrina) of Raleigh and Bernard Harris of Brooklyn, N. Y.; sister, Yvonne Branson of Knightdale; brothers, Douglas Williams of Hillsborough and Milton Williams of Maryland.

Open visitation will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg on Tuesday, March 3, from 3 to 7 p.m.
