KITTRELL - John Cheatham Fuller, 83, died Saturday, March 24, 2007 at his home. A private graveside service was conducted Tuesday morning, March 27, followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Plank Chapel United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Carol Dean officiating.

Born in Vance County, he was the son of the late Robert Francis Fuller and Hodgie Powell Fuller. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, having served in WW II. Mr. Fuller was retired from Colonial Stores. He was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Duke Fuller.

Surviving: his wife, Patricia Rowland Fuller; daughters, Constance F. Armstrong of Marblehead, Mass., and Dr. Mary J. Fuller of Oxford, Ohio; stepson, Greg Hunt of Raleigh; sisters, Christine F. Mayer of Petersburg, Va., and Virginia F. Gupton of Kittrell; brothers, Robert Francis Fuller of Clinton, Maine, and Gerald P. Fuller of Henderson; and one granddaughter.
