CASTALIA - Funeral services for James O. Davis Sr., 89, who died Thursday, July 23, 2015, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, at Philadelphia Baptist Church in Nashville, with the Rev. Paul Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Evines family cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Linda Jennings (Lloyd) and Argie Coley (Walter), all of Castalia; sons, James Davis Jr. (Belinda) of Castalia, Robert Earl Davis of Louisburg and Bobby Davis of Kernersville; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
