LOUISBURG - Annie Irene Ayscue, 88, of the Alert Community, died Sunday morning, Aug. 2, 2015. A graveside service was held Tuesday, Aug. 4, at the Pernell family cemetery. The family received friends immediately following the service.

Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Thomas Ayscue, and many sisters and brothers.

Surviving: sister, Pattie Mae Hill of Salisbury; many nieces and nephews
