RALEIGH - Louise Wood Lassiter, 74, of Raleigh, formerly of Franklin County, died Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015 at Rex Hospital. Graveside services will be held Saturday, Aug. 29, at 1 p.m. in the Joyner family cemetery.

She was born to the late David Harrison and Allie Mattie Wood. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Lassiter; her son, Ricky Lassiter; her sisters, Ruby Powell, Annie Tevepaugh and Lucille Watkins.

Surviving: daughter, Kimberly Ozbun; sisters, Patricia Patton, Dorothy Hale, Frances Cooke, Rose Shearin and Jean McCord; one brother, Darrell Wood.
