LOUISBURG - Doris Lounette House, 94, died Friday, Oct. 16, 2015. Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct. 18, at Lancaster Funeral & Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Blvd., Louisburg. Interment followed at Sandy Creek Baptist Church cemetery.

She was born in Franklin County to the late Robert and Daisy House. She worked at "Roses Dime Store" in downtown Louisburg in her younger years and later retired from Louisburg Sportswear.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Hattie Joyner, Lena Burnette, and Lessie Murphy, and a brother, Eugene House.

Surviving: nieces, Linda Shearin and Shirley Dupree (Donnie) of Louisburg, and a nephew, Bobby W. Murphy of Bracey VA.
