SPRING HOPE--Funeral services for Evelyn Pope Mitchell, 50, who died Friday, Nov. 20, 2015, will be held Saturday, Nov. 28, at 2 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Demeka Mitchell of Bethel, DeAnna Mitchell of Rocky Mount, Elexis Mitchell of the home; son, Eric Mitchell of Rocky Mount; father, Duncan Mitchell of Castalia; paternal grandmother, Ernestine Richardson of Rocky Mount; sisters, Darlicia Pope of the home and Audrey Walton of Rocky Mount; brothers, Willie Pope and Michael Pope, both of Rocky Mount.

Open visitation will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville on Friday, Nov. 27, 3 to 7 p.m.
