LOUISBURG - Robert E. Lewis, 70, died Thursday, April 5, 2007 at his home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. today (Wednesday, April 11) at Alston-Anderson Funeral chapel in Louisburg. Burial will follow in the Governor Wardrick family cemetery in Centerville.

Surviving: his wife, Lucille Wardrick Lewis of Louisburg; daughters, Alice Glover of New Bern and Robin W. Watson of Louisburg; stepson, Michael Wardrick of Raleigh and Crenell Zeigler of Patterson, N.J.; sister, Katie L. Earley of Ahoskie; brothers, Clarence H. Lewis of Rocky Mount and Bobby W. Lewis of Warner Robins, Ga.; and four grandchildren.
