LOUISBURG - Linda Carmichael Booth, 65, of Louisburg, passed away Thursday morning at her home.

Linda was a daughter of the late Fred and Claudia M. Carmichael. She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Booth; sister, Nancy Bowery; brother, MSgt. (Ret.) Fred E. Carmichael. She was a member of Westview Baptist Church in Rogersville, TN.

A funeral service will be held 12 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Stuart Lamkin officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Linda is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Miranda and Kevin Stallings of Louisburg; son, Bill Chess; sister, Debbie Carmichael, both of Rogersville, TN; grandchildren, Ethan and Avery Stallings; 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
