ZEBULON - David Malcolm Rice, 67, of Zebulon died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016 at Wake Medical Center. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Jan. 5, at 2 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services Chapel where funeral services will follow at 3 p.m., with Pastor Mike Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Youngsville.

He was born to the late Robert and Versteen Laughter Rice.

Surviving: his wife, Alice Pearce Rice; son, David Rice; daughters, Penny Poythress (Phillip), Kelly Cash (Richard); brothers, Phillip Rice, Aaron Rice (Pam) and Mark Rice (Shirley); and six grandchildren.
