LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Sadie O. Macon Nicholson, 70, who died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016, will be held Friday, Jan. 8, at 12 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Louisburg, with the Rev. Sidney Dunston officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.

Surviving: sons, Geroid Nicholson (Earnestine) of Louisburg and Michael Nicholson (Eveline) of Durham; sisters, Dorothy Perry and Olivia Strickland (Eddie), all of Louisburg, and Matilda Rose of Durham; brother, Richard Macon (Betty) of Louisburg; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Wake services will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg on Thursday, Jan. 7, from 6 to 7 p.m.
