LOUISBURG - Funeral services for George Washington Walker Rogers, 59, who died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Barbara Walker Rogers of the home; sons, Willie Patterson (Veronica) of East Orange, N.J., James Patterson of Newark, N.J., Tyrone Patterson (Della) of Louisburg, and Richard Patterson of Durham; sister, Rosa Crews of Louisburg; brothers, James Rogers, Samuel Rogers (Betty) and Burnette Rogers (Christine), all of Louisburg, Kenny Rogers of Florida and Roy Rogers (Sylvia) of Raleigh; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Open visitation will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg on Friday, Feb. 12, from 3 to 7 p.m.
