LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Martha B. Brodie, 85, who died Friday, March 4, 2016, will be held Wednesday, March 9, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Louisburg, with the Rev. N. P. Brodie officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Nellie Chavis of Asheboro, Mary Rogers (Fred) of Nashville, Carolyn Brodie of Louisburg, Rose Allen (Gene) of Raleigh and Sandra Brodie of the home; sons, Bernard Brodie (Donita) of Clayton, Calvin Brodie (Debra) of Bunn, Willie Brodie of the home, Gaither Brodie (Nonie), Howard Brodie and Mark Brodie, all of Louisburg; sister, Frances Alston of Louisburg; 27 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren.

Wake services will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg on Tuesday, March 8, from 6 to 8 p.m.
