RALEIGH - Funeral services for Clara Cooke Rushing, 76, who died Sunday, March 6, 2016, will be held Friday, March 11, at 1 p.m. at Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Louisburg, with the Rev. Alexander Herring officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: daughter, Melinda Rushing White (Maurice) of Louisburg; sons, Stephone Rushing (Karen) of Franklinton and Melvin Rushing (Tunisia) of Zebulon; brother, Charles Cooke (Minerva) of Wake Forest; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Wake services will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg tonight (Thursday, March 10) from 7 to 8 p.m.
