CASTALIA - Funeral services for Samuel Person, 85, who died Saturday, April 9, 2016, will be held Friday, April 15, at 2 p.m. at Allen Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Stanley Dunston officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Louise B. Person of the home; daughters, Ruth Richardson (Michael) of Castalia, Alice Faye Smith (Anthony) of Clayton, Joyce Hooler (Zochary) of Middlesex and Tarra Lewis (Michael) of Castalia; sons, Samuel J. Person (Delois) of Zebulon, Harvey Person (Cynthia), Arthur Person (Sonia), and Linwood Person (Diane), all of Castalia, Troy Person (Jimi) of Louisburg, Gregory Person (Danita) and Jeffrey Person (Dorothy), all of Castalia; 56 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 36 great-great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg on Thursday, April 14, from 3 to 7 p.m.
