WAKE FOREST – Funeral services for Mavis G. Redmond, 43, who died Tuesday, April 17, 2007, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, April 23, at Concord Baptist Church, with the Rev. S. E. Blaylock officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: son, Michael A. Wheless of Wake Forest; parent, Leah Redmond of Louisburg; sisters, Belinda Alston of Louisburg and Nancy Stancil of Aberdeen; brothers, Jairns Redmond of Bunn, Thomas Redmond of Kittrell and Maurice Redmond of Mapleton, Ga.

Open visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 22, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
