LOUISBURG - John Royster Foster, 79, died Saturday morning, May 7, 2016. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

He was a son of the late Hubert and Etta Mae "FaFa" Foster. He was a retired farmer.

Surviving: his wife, Annette "Ann" G. Foster; son, John M. "Johnny Buck" Foster of Louisburg; daughters. Lynda Paige (Keith) Collins of Louisburg, Pamela F. (Brian) Perry of Bunn; sister, Brenda F. (Lonnie) Hunt; brother, Ben D. (Hazel) Foster, all of Louisburg; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 111 Laurel Mill Centerville Rd., Louisburg, NC 27549.
