FRANKLINTON -- Wilbert Williams, 62, died Sunday, May 8, 2016, at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, at New Beginning Church in Franklinton. Interment will follow in the Popes Chapel United Church of Christ cemetery.

He was born in Vance County to the late Nathaniel Collins and Ethelyn Williams.

Surviving: one brother, Matthew Williams of Franklinton.

Viewing will be from noon to 6 pm Monday, May 16, in the funeral home chapel and at the church prior to the service.
