LOUISBURG - Nancy Ann Burnette Oakley, 73, of Louisburg died Sunday, July 17, 2016, at her home. Born on August 14, 1942 to the late Wade and Annie Mae Collins Burnette. She was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Howard Gupton and Johnnie Burnette.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3:00 pm at Sandy Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Kaden Williamson and the Rev. Joel Story officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.

On August 14th, she and her husband, Joseph E. Oakley, would have celebrated their twenty-fourth wedding anniversary. In addition to her husband, she is also survived by her brother, Graham Burnette; her nieces, Crystal Williams (Wayne) and Jennifer Burnette; and her great-nephew, Skylar Leonard.
