LOUISBURG - William H. Roberson, 87, of Louisburg, N.C. died Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at his home. Funeral will be held in Rocky Mount, Pineview Cemetery (with military rites), at a later time to be announced.

He was born Sept. 3, 1928 in Edgecombe County. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Flossie Roberson; a daughter, Paula M. Connors of Louisburg; a son, William G. Roberson; sister, Louise Reed; and brother, Noah Roberson.

Surviving are two precious sons, William O. Roberson of Louisburg and William R. Roberson and wife Donna of Youngsville; son-in-law, Dan Connors of Louisburg; brothers, Curtis Powell of Rocky Mount, George Powell of Norfolk, Va.; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, whom he loved dearly; many nieces and nephews, friends and co-workers. He also leaves behind a dear friend, Millie Bordeaux, who took care of Bill the last 10 years of his life.
