CASTALIA - Amy Marie Walker, 23, died Monday, Sept. 5, 2016. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9, at Cornerstone Funeral Home in Nashville, with the Rev. Steve Burnette and Pastor Larry Ayscue officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Nashville.

She was born in Nash County. She would have graduated in December with a GPA of 3.7 in Elementary Education from ECU.

Surviving: her mother, Nancy Ayscue and daddy, Larry Ayscue; her daughter, Hannah Maria Walker; maternal grandmother, Mattie Mosley; sister, Amanda Magana; one niece, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Garfield Walker; maternal grandfather, Richard Mosley; paternal grandmother, Flonnie Coley Walker.

The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. today (Thursday), Sept. 8, at Cornerstone Funeral Home, Nashville.
