FRANKLINTON--James Edward Vaughan, 68, died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2016 at his home. Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 8, at Lancaster's Franklinton Chapel, with the Rev. Clyde Waiden officiating. Interment followed in Fairview Cemetery.

He was the son of the late Woodrow Wilson and Pauline Huff Vaughan. He owned and operated Nightrunner Electronics, and prior to that he had been a dispatcher with the Franklinton Police Department.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Faydeen Vaughan; and his stepson, Paul Wood.

Surviving: son, Allen (Frances) Vaughan, and two grandsons.
