WENDELL - Carl Randolph Aliff Sr., 85, a resident of Oliver House, died Saturday, May 5, 2007. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. today (Wednesday, May 9) at Yarborough-O’Neal Villa, 501 Pony Road, Zebulon, with the Rev. Mark Blanton officiating.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale.

Surviving: wife, Lillian Charlton Aliff of Yarborough-O’Neal Villa of Zebulon; sons, Carl R. Aliff Jr. of Raleigh, Michael Leslie Aliff Sr. (Barbara) of Franklinton, Richard Lee Aliff of Clayton; daughter, Sandra Marie Aliff of Wendell; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Mae Smith, and a brother, James Aliff; and one grandson.
