ZEBULON - Horace Mephoy Privette, 82, of the Pearces Community, died at his home on Thursday, March 2, 2017. A graveside service was held Saturday at Pearces Baptist Church cemetery.

He was the son of the late Ralph M. and Elsie P. Privette. He was a farmer and worked at Seimens for 20 years.

Surviving: his wife, Joyce H. Privette; son, Jeff Privette (Patricia) of Pearces; stepchildren, Celena Curtis and Robert Curtis (Susan), all of Samaria; sister, Eloise P. Stallings of Pearces; two nephews; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
