LITTLETON - Dorothy Burton Hubbard, 97, died Sunday, May 6, 2007 in Louisburg. A private family service was held with burial following in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Littleton.

Mrs. Hubbard was born in Littleton, daughter of the late James Hudson Burton and Elisa Daniel Burton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Eba Russell Hubbard; her brother, James Hudson Jr.; and by sisters, Frances Olivia Burton and Edna Burton Davidson.

Surviving: nieces Eliza Burton of Greensboro and Olivia Burton Kemp of Henderson; nephews, James Hudson Burton III of Louisburg and Chester Logan Davidson of Lookout Mountain, Ga.

The family requests that any memorials be made to Littleton United Methodist Church, 105 East South Main St., Littleton, NC 27850.
