HENDERSON - Funeral services for Vernell Rouse Ellis, 91, who died Friday, March 3, 2017, will be held Saturday, March 11, at 12 p.m. in the Richardson Funeral Home chapel in Louisburg, with the Rev. Sidney Dunston officiating. Burial will follow in the Quantico National Cemetery in Quantico, Va.

Surviving: son, James Rouse (Carrie) of Kittrell; sisters, Della Champion (Joseph) of Kittrell, Betty Burwell (Clyde) of Henderson; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Open visitation will be Friday afternoon from 3 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
