LOUISBURG--Funeral services for Lloyd "Doc" Williams, 74, who died Friday, May 5, 2017, will be held Thursday, May 11, at 1 p.m. at Mitchell Baptist Church in Louisburg, with the Rev. Dr. Daniel W. Lilly Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Mitchell Church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Dorothy Lee of Wake Forest, Evelyn Jones of the home, Amanda Williams of Greensboro; sons, Lloyd Williams Jr. of Louisburg, Lawrence Williams (Stephanie) of Charlotte, Cornell Williams of Louisburg, Donell Williams (Kendra) of Durham; sister, Pattie Alston (Daniel) of Williamsboro; brother, June Williams of Henderson; 16 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
