FRANKLINTON--Emma Wood Johnson, 76, died Sunday, July 2, 2017. A celebration of her life will be held Thursday, July 6, at 7 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Service, Franklinton Chapel, with visitation from 6-6:45 p.m. before the service.

She was born on April 16, 1941 to the late Katie West and Henry Wood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Johnson; brothers, Perry Lee Wood, Henry Wood; and sisters, Edith Perry, Mavis W. Franklin and Claudia Pearl Woodard.

Surviving: her sons, Ricky Johnson (Lisa), Greg Johnson (Debbie); sister, Frances W. Goodwin; brother, Douglas Wood (Louise); six grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
