FRANKLINTON--Jerry N. Stanton, 69, died Monday, July 17, 2017 at his home. A funeral service honoring his life will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, with the Rev. Steve Kirk officiating.

He was born in Vance County, the son of the late Annie Belle West Stanton and Ruic Stanton. He was retired from Roses Warehouse.

Surviving: his wife, Dianne Stanton; daughters, Destinee Stanton, Ashley Stanton and Yvonne Rogers; sons, Darrin Oakley and Lee Oakley; sister, Hazel Hogan; brothers, Eugene and Willie Stanton; other brothers and stepsisters; nine grandchildren; and 11 great- grandchildren.

Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Wake Forest.
