LOUISBURG--George "G.W." Walter Leonard, 60, of Louisburg died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2017 at Louisburg Nursing Center.

He was born on Dec. 9, 1956 to the late Rufus "R.D." Denton and Jeanette Murray Leonard. He was self-employed as a flooring contractor.

Surviving: his son, Brian (Barbara) Leonard; one granddaughter; sisters, Dena Stone (Anthony) and Jeannine Pearce; brother, Kimmy Leonard; one niece and three nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday night from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Blvd., Louisburg. Online condolences may be made to www.lancasterfcs.com.
