YOUNGSVILLE--William Arthur Nelson, 71, died Monday, Aug. 14, 2017 at Transitions Hospice Care, Raleigh.

He was born on April 20, 1946 in St Paul, MN to the late Robert and Dorothy Hagen.

Surviving: his wife, Aline Ollivier Nelson; his family, Mary Lou and Al Starr, Chuck and Sandi Ollivier, Larry and Kathie Ollivier, Jeanette Ollivier, Peter and Patti Ollivier, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the DAV (Disabled American Veterans)
