ZEBULON - William “Bill” Floyd Allen, 51, died unexpectedly Friday morning, May 25, 2007. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, May 27, at Friendship Freewill Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Mr. Allen was an animal enforcement officer with the Wilson County Sheriff’s Department and also worked with the Carolina Mudcats. He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Exum Allen.

Surviving: his wife, Janice Tebo Allen; daughter, Megan Elizabeth Allen; mother and stepfather, Betty and Owen Barham of Middlesex; and one grandson.
