LOUISBURG--Funeral services for Mary Skipper, 74, who died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017, will be held Saturday, Oct. 14, at 2 p.m. at Perry's Missionary Baptist Church in Louisburg, with the Rev. Randolph Alston officiating. Burial will follow in the Ellis family cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Marcia Young (Emery) of Raleigh, Marilyn Skipper (Peter Martinez) of Brooklyn, N.Y.; son, Donald Ray Skipper Jr. of Bronx, N.Y.; sisters, Lola Bell Wright and Orelia Alston (James); brother, Harvey Alston (Frances), all of Louisburg; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday from 5 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
