CREEDMOOR--Rodney Lee Watson, 49, a lifetime resident of Wilton, died unexpectedly Friday, Oct. 20, 2017 at his home. Graveside services were conducted Monday, Oct. 23, at Dexter Baptist Church cemetery by the Rev. Wayne Clark.

He was the son of the late John E. Watson Jr. and his mother, Virginia Dean of Stovall. He worked at Verdin Roofing Company.

Surviving: his mother, Virginia Dean; a son, Dustin Lee Watson of Louisburg; daughters, Ashly Watson, Kimberly Watson and Jennifer Watson, all of Wilton; brothers, Johnny Watson of Bullock, Kevin Hicks of Roxboro; and seven grandchildren.
