LOUISBURG - Robert M. Hester, 36, died suddenly Saturday morning, June 2, 2007. A celebration of his life was conducted at a memorial service Tuesday, June 5, at the Louisburg High School Auditorium.

A former youth minister at Sandy Creek Baptist Church, Louisburg, he was currently student pastor at Lighthouse Church, Louisburg, where he had served for the past six years.

Surviving: his wife, Joy; daughter, Kara; and many extended church family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his wife and daughter through Lighthouse Church, 616 Gold Sand Road, Louisburg, NC 27549.
