LOUISBURG--Michael Dennis Sackett Jr., 38, died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. The family will receive friends Friday from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Boulevard, Louisburg. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at Beulah Christian Baptist Church, 8225 Mitchell Mill Road, Zebulon, with Pastor Ronnie Snead officiating.

He was born to Coleen Pace and the late Michael Dennis Sackett. Michael attended Le Cordon Blue College of Culinary Art in Miami, Fla., and was a nationally registered chef.

Surviving: his wife, Elisha Sackett; sons, Michael and Hunter; daughter, Isabella; mother, Coleen Pace; step-mother, Aileen Sackett; two brothers, a sister and many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins.
