LOUISBURG--Charlene Ruth Vander Kooi Ten Broek, 74, died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. today, Thursday, Dec. 28, at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Blvd., Louisburg. Funeral service will be held Friday, Dec. 29, at 2 p.m. at Victory Baptist Church, 475 J.B. Taylor Road., Henderson, with Pastor Ricky Easter officiating. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

She was born in Zeeland, Mich., to the late Albert James and Anna Mae De Young Vander Kooi. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Ten Broek. Her career was in teaching.

Surviving: daughter, Tracey Finch (Timothy); sons, Chris Ten Broek (Amy) and Timothy Ten Broek (Alex); brother, Dave Vander Kooi (Bonnie); sister, Jan Mulder (Ron); and nine grandchildren
